Stellenbosch Media Forum (SMF) is an annual publication produced by the journalism students in their final year of studies at Stellenbosch University. SMF aims to explore trends within the media.This year’s theme is “exposed” and focuses on exposing and investigating issues in the media.
All content is produced by the students.
The 2012 edition includes a great variety of topics which range from profiles with leading media figures such as Ferial Haffajee and Martin Welz to investigations about journalists’ salaries, science journalism and social media.
